DIVISIONS

Adult

CATEGORIES

 

2-D (Three Categories: Drawing, Painting & Watercolor)

 

- Drawing includes Pastel, Charcoal, Colored Pencil, Graphite, Ink, Marker, Oil Pastel, Chalk, Pen, Crayon, Etching, Woodcut, Lithograph, Digital, Collage, etc.

 

- Painting includes Oil, Acrylic, Encaustic, Casein, Gouache, Tempera, etc. on any type of surface.

- Watercolor is paint mixed with water to create transparent layers of color on paper.

 

3-D (One Category that includes all 3D Art)

 

- Any three dimensional art that involves carving, modeling, casting, constructing, shaping, cutting, soldering, or fabricating with height, width and depth.  It includes Fiber, Sculpture, Ceramic, Wood, Glass, Stone, Metal, Plaster, Mache, 3D Printer, etc.

 

AWARDS

Ribbons will be awarded for: 

1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Honorable Mention, Best of Show & Peoples’s Choice in all three Divisions (Adult, High School & Youth)

 

RULES 

(A) You may enter 3 works of art per Category. Drawing (3 works), Painting  (3 works), Watercolor (3 works) and 3D (3 works). A maximum of twelve works of art per artist.

(B) 2D Artwork should be hangable with wire or mounted on foam board or heavy cardboard. 

(C) Maximum size of 2-D artwork is 36” wide.
(D) 3D Artwork should be stable and secure for exhibiting, and not easily tipped over. If it needs a base, please bring one.
(E) The EXibit Gallery has the right to reject any work of art for exhibition, for any reason.
