Welcome to the 12th Annual Liberty Arts Festival!

The City of Morris and The EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery are proud to host this event—held on Saturday, August 15 from 9:30am to 3pm.

Judges will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners based on four criteria:

• Aesthetics

• Use of space

• Quality of work

• Interaction with the crowd

 The art festival is held in downtown Morris on the Grundy County Courthouse Lawn, two blocks west of State Route 47 (Division Street). The address of the courthouse is 111 E Washington Street.

• Arrival/Set Up/Parking: A map with your specific location is attached. You may begin setting up your 10 by 10 space (or 10 by 20 space if you paid for two spots) on the courthouse lawn starting at 7 am. Vendor parking will be in the parking lot directly east and across Franklin Street.

• Electricity: There are limited electrical outlets. If you requested electricity AND we were able to accommodate, your space will be situated near an outlet on the lawn. Please have your own extension cord.

• Weather: The show will operate rain or shine. Please consider bringing a tent, as it will be a warm day.

• Restrooms: There are public restrooms located on Wauponsee Street (enter from the alley by Keg Grove Brewing) and at the Morris Area Public Library. Handicap accessible portable restrooms are available at the corner of Washington and Liberty.

• Cellular Service: Many of you may use POS that needs cellular service—which is sometimes in limited quantity when the downtown is inundated with out-of-town guests. Be prepared to accept back-up forms of payment in case this occurs.

• Exiting the Show: Please do NOT pack up before 3 pm. After that time feel free to bring a vehicle alongside Franklin and Washington Streets as available to pack up your vehicle. (There will be no vehicles allowed from 9:00am - 3:00pm on the roads adjacent to the front courthouse lawn).
