DIVISIONS 

Adult 

High School

Youth (ages 13 and under) 

 

CATEGORIES

1. Sky:

Any photo taken of the sky, about the sky, or with the sky in it.

2. Earth:

Any photo taken of the earth and anything on the earth (such as trees, plants, creatures, rocks, etc.)

3.Still Life:

Images of stationary subject matter, either natural or human-made, arranged in a visually pleasing composition.

4. Water:

Any image depicting water, about water, or with water in it (rain, snow, ice, rivers, oceans, city water, steam, etc.)

5. Urban:

Any photo related to urban life or the city.

6. Rural:

Any photo related to rural life or the country.

7. People:

Any photo about people or with people in it.

8. Animals:

Any image with an animal in it (such as fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, insects, etc.).

9. Abstract:

Photos that are unexpected, unrecognizable, experimental, non-objective or having an unreal appearance from real objects. Images that don’t have an immediate association with the physical world.

Ribbons will be awarded for: 

1st Place (in all 9 categories)

2nd Place (in all 9 categories)

3rd Place (in all 9 categories)

Honorable Mention (no limit)

Best of Show (overall)

Peoples’s Choice (overall)

 

High School Division

Ribbons will be awarded for: 

1st Place (in all 9 categories)

RULES

(A) You may enter only one photo per Photo Category (9 Categories = 9 photos total).
(B) Maximum overall size is 11”x 14” (Including mounting board or frame size).

(C) Photos should be securely mounted on foam board or heavy cardboard
(D) Photos in frames must have hanging wire.
(E) Photos entered in previous Corn Festival Shows are discouraged.
(F) No nude or suggestive photos.
(G) The EXibit Gallery has the right to reject any work of art for exhibition, for any reason.

All entries can be picked up at the gallery on (Sun) Sep. 28, from Noon - 5pm.
