Entry Fee

There is no entry fee for the Veteran's Art Show. The entry fees have been paid by sponsors.

Installation

Artwork must be suitable for hanging with hooks and wire. Please print your name on the back of your artwork or, attach a mailing sticker to the back for identification.

 

Judging

The judges have full discretion to accept or reject any work of art entered into the show.

 

Sales

The EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery will handle all sales during the show and retain a 20% commission on all artwork sold during the exhibition. The EXibit Gallery will deduct the 20% commission from the artist's asking price (So add 20% to your price if you want to sell your work during the show). Artwork that is not for sale must be marked NFS (Not For Sale) on the entry form.

 

Marketing and Publicity

Artists are expected to promote their exhibition through their own social media networks, and be available to take any other appropriate promotional opportunities presented to them by The EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery. The EXibit Gallery will promote exhibitions through online listings and editorial in a range of print and web-based media outlets, including The EXibit website, Facebook Page, Instagram, and other social media accounts.

Gallery Insurance

The gallery is supervised by the EXibit staff and volunteers during all business hours and all care is taken to ensure that exhibition security is of the highest standard.

 

Artwork Insurance

Individuals will be accountable for insuring their own artwork.

 

Public Liability Insurance

The EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery holds Public Liability Insurance, and a copy of this policy is available upon request.

Delivery of Artwork for the Show

Hand Delivered Work

Artwork accepted for the exhibition may be hand delivered during regular gallery hours

Saturdays 11am-3pm

(If you can't deliver your work during regular gallery hours call 815-258-5191 to make other arrangements)

 

Shipped Work

The EXibit Gallery will accept delivery from artists wishing to ship their work. Artists are responsible for the costs of shipping and insurance to and from the gallery. You must include a pre-printed shipping label for your preferred carrier inside the box with your artwork.

Artwork must be packed in reusable shipping materials, box or crate (no plastic peanuts please). The EXibit Gallery assumes no liability for damages to your artwork during shipping or while in our possession.

Shipped Work

Shipped work will be repackaged and shipped in the same box it was delivered, using your prepaid return shipping label.

The EXibit Fine Art Center and Gallery is a not-for-profit community based organization in Morris, Illinois, that developes, promotes and produces high quality visual arts and crafts through a range of arts access and education programs, community activities, exhibitions and events.
